Ulsan is Korea’s most industrial city, and has the factories to match. The industrial district includes the world’s largest shipyard, oil refinery, and automobile assembly plant (Hyundai). The city is associated with Hyundai, which makes its corporate base there. Major tourist attractions include Ulgi Park, a seaside park with beautiful scenery, and Seoknamsa Temple, a Buddhist temple originally built in 824 A.D.
