A look inside Jinro's distilling factory.

Icheon is famous for its ceramics, and has been Korea’s center of pottery since the 14th century, during the Joseon Dynasty. The Ceramics Village is Icheon is home to more than 80 different pottery factories, including  Kwang Ju Yo, where Marja made her own teapot. Icheon has the most fertile land in all of Korea, and the rolling rice fields  set against the backdrop of scenic mountains provide a nice backdrop to the industrial buzz of the city. There is also a Jinro distilling factory in the city where soju, Korean rice liquor, is made.
